Sémillon
89 Points, Paul Gregutt Wine Enthusiast Magazine
Tasting Notes
Our Sémillon was barrel fermented and aged in neutral French oak. As a result, you will be surprised by fruity aromas of honeysuckle, peaches and sweet melon with a hint of nutmeg and oak vanilla. It has a crisp balance and smooth finish.
Food Pairings
Pair with white fish, chicken or pork dishes where roasted bell peppers, olives, and fennel are prominent.
Winemaking
Our Sémillon was barrel fermented and aged in neutral French oak. The fermentation was done at cool temperatures to preserve the aromas. The wine was stirred on the lees. The results speak for themselves in the mouth feel which is rich and textural. The fruit was preserved with only hints of oak.
